Go with the SWG. Not even a dilemma here in Texas in my opinion (I’m here in Sugar Land). Yes the feel is great but it’s all about water sanitation. I’d rather saw my arm off than not have an SWG down here.
If you want your pool to be your second full time job get a non SWG pool. Honestly.
Also the “salt will ruin the deck and stone” is a load of **. I have Travertine decking and coping all around my pool. I don’t have a SINGLE speck of damage from salt and I’ve had my pool for six years. I also don’t “seal” anything. We are talking about 3500 ppm salt not 60,000 ppm like the ocean..
