With the pandemic apparently everyone wanted a pool built last year. Our pool guys are unable to get parts for our auto cover. Our roller drum corroded on our Coverstar auto cover and we need a new one. I heard from the electrical sub that some of the pool builders are having to bribe the suppliers to get first dibs on the parts that come in. Is this issue happening around the country?

I did a down to the studs renovation of a house from July to December last year and supplies were getting tighter as the year went on. I can only imagine it has gotten worse. In some cases we changed the materials to use what we could get.
I have another house to renovate and am hoping architectural plans and permits push it to next year when manufacturers will have caught up their supply chain.

Still no word from the pool tech on when/if we'll ever get a drum replacement for our auto cover. This is very frustrating!
