Hi All!
I have been nursing this 250m heater for years. It ran fine all last year. I have had several problems starting it up this year. The Pilot won't stay lit. After 2 minutes or more, as soon as I release the knob it goes out. I had it running for a few days, jumped the TH/PP and TH terminals to test the burners. They came on, but I think that's when the pilot when out. I just ordered a new Pilot assembly.
Pentair 471204 Natural IID Pilot Replacement Pool and Spa Heater
I tried bench testing the generator (Pentair-071515)new with a candle and I got it up to around 200mv.
Not sure if it is putting out enough or not.... What's the best way to test them?
I would replace the heater it if I could find someone to do the job, but the pool people are too busy and charge way too much.
I am new to TFP. Any help would be appreciated!
