Tips for passing inspection

Hi All,

I’m highly compliant and I am driving my wife nuts prepping for final inspection. I have everything down to the no diving signs. She thinks over kill.

My last item is bolting down the pool Motor to the cement pad.

Is this necessary to pass inspection? I’ve see. We’re its better on the joints not to bolt down the motor.

Thank you.

Call the inspector. He/she will tell you what they are looking for. If you want to take a chance it would take about 15-30 minutes with a hammer drill and small red heads ( anchors) to fix the problem and call for re-inspection.

18x36 vinyl liner , Hayward Sand Filter, Maxflo VS pump, Hayward VS Omni automation, Rheem 115k Heat pump, Colorlogic LED. Dolphin 400 robot. Build date: Spring 2018.

Which inspection is it? The final inspection? Ours failed for unconnected rebar, too big a gap under the fence, and not enough grading/shoring up of the areas around the pool. Are you owner build or have a builder? I don't think the pump being bolted down is a requirement in most areas.
