I need to replace two 10-in lights in the pool and one of the lights in the deep end does not have enough tether to come out of the water and onto the side deck so I told them they probably need to put in a longer cable so that it's easier to change in the future and this is the quote that I got. It also includes adding a actuator or tapping into the relay for a frog water feature that's just always on. I would love to know what y'all think about this pricing and what they have to say.
≈===============================
For the replacement of two pool light fixtures: $1914.91

Note: The existing old lights/cords must be loose and pullable to replace lights.

*For the installation of a valve and actuator on water feature (frog): $835.42

Any other parts and/or labor not listed or described that should become necessary would be additional.
================================

I am in Austin TX if that gives any context.

Welcome to TFP.

What model lights are being installed?

What is the Frog water feature?

What model valve and actuator is being installed?

What control system will the actuator connect to?

Does this include programming of the actuator?

Pricing is so dependent on local and the type of product they are supplying. That was not given as to what the new lights are.
Pulling new wire can be easy if a short run or challenging if a long run and has been in place for a long time.
The only way to really know is to get a second quote.
