The "Pool Cleaner" starts, then stops???

I have a Pool Cleaner vacuum and it will start moving, cleaning but after a minute or two it just stops. I have checked the suction, the hoses are fine, the filter was just cleaned by myself a few days ago. The suction from the hose is very strong but the pool cleaner just stops moving after a minute or two once the pool pump is turned on.

I took the pool cleaner apart to check for anything restricting it from moving but didn't find any issues.

Any suggestions on what the issue might be?

what kind of cleaner do you have? (is it a "robot", or a cleaner that runs on a high pressure pump?)

How old is your "The Pool Cleaner" suction side pool vac?
2 wheel or 4 wheel version?
You may need a rebuilt kit or need to replace some gears.
