*The Last 7 Days of Water Tests*

So I purchased a LaMotte 2056 Color-Q Pro 7 Digital Test Kit. Full disclosure, I’m a newb when it comes to this stuff so I apologize in advance. Below, I’ll include my last few tests, as well as my target ranges. 26k pool, SWG, vinyl liner.

Target Ranges:
FC = 3-5 ppm Target = 5, Slam = 28
pH = 7.2-8.0 Target = 7.6 to 7.8
TA = 50-90 Target = 60-80
CH = 0-650 (Not needed for Vinyl)
CYA = 60-90 Target = 70-80

5/15/20 2200 hours:
Free Chlorine = 6.48
Total Chlorine = 6.64
pH = 7.1 (added 5 lbs, 13 oz. of Borax 20 Mule)
Alkalinity = 55 (added 5 lbs, 11 oz of baking soda)
Calcium Hardness = 65
Cyanuric Acid = 12 (added 14 lbs of dry stabilizer)

5/17/20 0956 hours:
Free Chlorine = 7.75
Total Chlorine = 8.06
pH = 7.2
Alkalinity = 108
Calcium Hardness = 38
Cyanuric Acid = 68
No changes made.

5/20/20 2150 hours:
Free Chlorine = Hi
Total Chlorine = Hi
pH = 7.4
Alkalinity = 117
Calcium Hardness = 56
Cyanuric Acid = 72
Salt cell generator was turned off, no other changes made.

5/22/20 1625 hours:
Free Chlorine = 9.25
Total Chlorine = 9.60
pH = 7.4
Alkalinity = 105
Calcium Hardness = 47
Cyanuric Acid = 68
No changes made, thus far. Awaiting everyone’s recommendations.

Ok, I’m going to look into returning the LaMotte for a Taylor K2006C.
