When it was mostly drained I went out there with a crowbar to help reach in and punch a bunch of holes in the liner to finish the job. While there I did my best Charlie Chaplin imitation, except, instead of dancing with a cane, I was trying to punch holes in the side wall. It flat out laughed at me. Just a flesh wound.......... ‘Tis but a scratch

The ridges made for a miserable time with the sawzall bouncing all over. Even with the extra thick Milwaukee Axe/Torch blades I needed a new on every 10 ft. The teeth just couldn’t handle it but at least the thickness kept them from breaking.
I bought a cut off disc and tried the circular saw but it needed too much pressure to work. I was bogging down the saw and risking saw failure, or 24k rpm shrapnel from the cutoff disc. So the sawzall had to finish the job.
Another member posted pics of his being built and I messaged him trying to figure out how to unbuild mine. He said they were about $7k-$9k now and was THRILLED that I could vouch for my 2002 pool going strong. His should last as long as he wants.
