Since joining and reading the plethora of info here, I've managed to transform my small AGP from a dissappointing swamp into a pleasurable experience. Thanks!
Spa and firepit in the background. I've been working in my spare time laying flat rock in this ~600sq-ft patio over the last 18 months. All this rock was hand picked off my Great-Grandparents inherited land. Our area has been in the worst drought in over 50 years, hence the terrible looking yard.
In this pic, you can see the small "pump house" my then 10yo son and I built out of leftover plywood. The tree stump is eventually going to be topped with cement backer board and mosaic tile for a small table by the spa. The sand is used for cement grouting the rock.
Very pretty pool. Everything flows together nicely. I especially love the rocks you've put down, and hand picking them from the grandparents place makes them that much more special I'm sure. Well done, you should be very proud. Enjoy, and have a wonderful night.
