TFT test results ....

Well just opened pool yesterday these are results from TFT test , can someone tell me whats needed , water is slightly cloudy filter has been running since this morning ::

15ft Round AGP (5300 gal)
75deg water

Chl- 15
CC- 1.0
PH- 8.2+ showed up really red on 5 drop test
CH- 250
CYA- 20
TA- 140

At this point... nothing.

The pH test will read falsely high when FC is above 10. You are, so it is wrong.

If you simply must do something, brush every inch of that pool and keep an eye on the filter pressure and the water flow because a cloudy pool with a lot of FC is going to lead to a lot of dead algae getting filtered out.

Later on, if FC dips below 10, take a pH reading. Then you can set pH to 7.2 and follow the SLAM Process instructions. You may want to raise CYA to 30 for that.

Thanks will do , i bought a new cartridge this year , pressure on gauge is 10, when should i clean it ?..when rises or falls?

If it was 10 new, when it reaches 12 or 13 psi. You'll probably notice a decrease in return flow when it is ready, too. High pressure = low flow.
