tf100 TA test question

Good afternoon everyone.

I use the TF100 test kit and have been using the TA test lately and need some clarification.

The instructions say that you count the drops until the water turns "red". Mine never turns red. It turns light pink when it first turns and then if I add another drop it turns dark pink.

So am I counting until the water turns light pink or dark pink? I want to get the TA as close to 70 as possible so need to know if I'm currently at 40 or 50.

When the color stops changing, that is it. So the dark pink!

Are you adding the R-0007 dechlorinating drops?

and of course if you accidentally drop in more solution after the solid red/pink, subtract that from the test result.

When I do that test I have the same thing...after it gets close it turns a bit red/pink then usually one or
more drops later it's solid and doesn;t increase color beyond that.
