Testing 5-hr old sample

I am doing a SLAM and got up before sunrise to pull a sample, but did not test it right then. Would my FC reading still be accurate enough to trust it after about 5 hours sitting in my dark basement?

Technically is should, but we do not recommend it. Worst case, the FC will be lower so your OCLT would fail.

Maybe but why risk the testing error. Sample again or rerun the OCLT the next day.

Yep, that's what I figured. And, my FC level was at my exact desired level at 10pm last night. Just couldn't bring myself to do that test while still half asleep at 0530 this morning. I will rinse and repeat tomorrow.
