Test wait time after Chlorine addition

Greetings,
Just added some chlorine. 4,545 gallon pool so Pool Math only called for 500ml. What is the wait time to test? 30 minutes is what I seem to recall.....

Once poured slowly near the return jets with pump on and mixing well, only a few minutes is needed. If you have limited pool circulation in a small pool, you can sweep/brush the water around to help. 10-15 minutes should be plenty.

Thank you for the immediate response! Pump is ~45GPM when hoses, etc., taken into consideration. Pool is Intex 18'x9'x52" rectangular.
Have another question but will start new thread for others that may search.
