The chlorine tabs were all dissolved when I emptied the skimmers this morning. So I added two. I tested about 45min after so my guess is the Free Chlorine level has not risen yet. I will measure FC again this afternoon and post results. We can go from there.

There are two types of people in the pool business that love owners to put tabs in the skimmer; those that replace skimmers and those that repair/replace equipment.
A second groip are those that refinish pools because of the corrosion at the maindrain from tabs in the skimmer.
Despite them being called " skimmer tablets," they should be in a floating feeder so the chlorine actually gets into the water.

How many floaters should I use and how many tablets in each floater?
