Tea colored water from fall leaves and tannin, trying to close

Hello all,
I let the fall leaves sit in my net on top of the pool for too long and ended up with a deep end the color of a weak tea. t least it's a weak tea and not a strong one or coffee colored!

I have been trying to get the tannin colors out of the water with high chlorination levels but it is a really slow process and hard to say I am making headway.

What is the best way to take care of this before closing the pool? Continue to shock it or look for an enzyme to break it down? There is no staining on the vinyl layer, it's just all in the water.

Here are some things we should address first to better help you:
- Are you sure the tea color is from leaves? Just in case, are you on a well (iron)?
- Can you post a full set of test results?
- Which test kit do you use?
- Update your signature with all of your pool and equipment info (include test kti as well)
- What type of chlorine are you using?
- Maybe post a pic so we can see the water
