Hi there,

The screw\bolt for the battery compartment won't move all rusted out. I tried penetrating spray, silicon lube. haven't tried wd40 yet.
any suggestions?
haven't tried drilling yet.

Guessing the battery is leaking acid. May be time to replace the speed stir.
You could try drilling the screw out.

Liquid Wrench Penetrating Oil would be my suggestion. Let it soak in overnight.

Thanks. I drilled it out and to my surprise batteries didn't leak. They were down to 1.1v and speedstir light would blink 3/4 of the time.
