I have a tagelus TA50 sand filter with a leaking tank. What is the difference between the TA50 and TA 50D - I cant seem to find the answer. Hoping to just replace the body as the multiport is new.

Page 8 would lead you to believe that both the 50 and the 50D use tank p/n 155279.
But then page 9 shows slight differences in the dimensions of the two.
Page 8 says:
If your filter was manufactured before November 1994, please call
Pentair Technical Support at 1-800-831-7133 for correct replacement
part numbers for your filter. The first 4 digits of the serial number
indicate the month and year product was manufactured.
I would call Pentair Technical Support and see what they say.

yes thank you-- My tank was installed in 2005. and is the clamping ring style -- I see the dimensions are different-- not sure if that will affect the multiport or internals I have--will call pentair.
