Switching to BBB and my first test results

Rain changes chemistry much less than people think. If you got 2 inches of rain based on your pool, your volume went up by maybe 1000 gallons. That's 1/25th of your total volume, so all your results would be approximately 24/25ths of what they were before. A 100 ppm reading would go to 96. A 10 ppm would go to 9.6. Nothing drastic.

Is it fair to say that if it's raining heavily then when testing it is *really* important to either have the pump running steadily or to take your water sample well below the surface so you aren't testing a layer of rain water floating on the top ?
