Swimming by March 2020!!! (We hope...)

Thanks Kim! None of those pipes are connected yet, and they are moveable...we are hoping they are going to move those two under the larger pipe (and if y’all confirm it should be done, we will insist on it) as it seems once the dirt and concrete are there, it will be a lot of weight on those little pipes!

The pipes, if they hold up during the back fill, would be okay long term (dirt would lock them in place), but yes there is a definite tinge of laziness there. In many ways they look neater than the ones for my pool. You will know they (or redone ones, make sure they repressurize the system if they do redo them!) held up because there should be a delay between the shell of the pool being blasted on and when the plasterers will cut the caps off the returns. If it's holding pressure then, you are good. Check for this yourself.

I will give you a vote of confidence too, so far I really like the in floor cleaner, especially now in the winter because I don't have to remove the solar cover much (only for chemicals and peeking. I did a good brush down twice on a "warm day" and I'll have to do a really good one in the spring, but no biggie.). Everyone seems to have them in Arizona (or at least in Tucson) and I thought I'd probably lose an eventual sale of the house if I didn't do it too. Having said that, in most other places they probably wouldn't work as well. I could see how there would be issues with it in areas with a lot of leaves, branches, grass clipping, etc. In Austin with your lot I think you'll be fine too.

And for the skimmers.. those Paramount skimmers are awesome. I'm sad that Hayward (and the equity fund people) bought Paramount. If it were the other way around the Hayward equipment would improve vastly in quality. Paramount stuff is GOOD!

Thanks so much for the info! Very glad to hear your good review on the infloor system- hoping it works well for us too!

Ok...I need help again. Having so many issues with our builder I just want to scream!
We had them chip off two inches from our tanning ledge- they didn’t build it as per the plans. We have had to push at every turn to have this done right.
now..they are telling us the gunite is done and wanting payment, but I’m concerned with the concave area in the pic below. They say the Pebbletech will take care of it all. Am I crazy to want them to gunite the concave area above the pipe? They sure are making me feel that way...
tThanks so much.

That's not a problem as is. The plaster can handle that
