I have read multiple times to pick a SWG that is rated at twice the size of the pool you are using it on.

I am look at putting in a 31,000 gallon pool and I am only seeing SWG's in the 40K size.

Is this a problem? I have had an AGP for years now and would prefer to stick with salt water if I can.

There are SWCG's rated for 60K pools. Pentair has one and so does Circupool.

You can get away with a 40K unit as long as you design the system with a VS pump and will be able to run the pump and SWCG 24 hours per day during swim season.

Thanks for the info.

I am in the planning stages right now. I was thinking about the following:

HAYWARD TRISTAR VS950 VARIABLE SPEED PUMP
HAYWARD OMNILOGIC CAT5 SMART PHONE CONTROLLED 40K SALT SYSTEM

Feel free to make recomendations. I will look at bigger SWG's too. I had just not seen them.

What you show listed is fine. Again, that SWCG will work, just plan to run it a lot during the summer.
