Hello all,
I've been a TFP person for many years now. My friend has a swg plaster inground pool that has a TA of 360. On the pools that I have owned I have had to bring my TA down before, and did this with success using the drop (ph) and aerate method. But my levels were never this high.
I will get a full set of measurements Monday, but I'm wondering what you suggest for such a high TA. Right now my thinking is just approach it with systematic ph drop/aerate cycles is all we can do.
Ph is currently very high 8.2 and calcium is 200, cya is 20. We'll certainly address cya and other issues, but the TA seems super high
His city water currently has a TA of 280, calcium of 80
Suggestions, thanksl
