Hi, I had a question of which SWG unit you'd recommend and where you guys would recommend placing a SWG in my current setup?
My pool is approximately 11500 gallons

Thanks in advance!

My thoughts:
I was thinking about trying to DIY it. I'm thinking of getting a Pentair SWG unit rated for 20,000 gallons (about twice my pool size). The SWG should be installed right before the water returns to the pool (between filter and pool). Not sure if there's enough room to just cut pipe+place SWG. I might need to replace pipe to make room for the SWG(?)
Red is new pipe and blue is SWG. Not sure what you guys think. This is my first time

Thanks in advance!

That's perfect, although if you don't have automation, which it doesn't look like you do, you might want to rethink getting a Pentair cell. You will only be able to change the output percentage in multiples of 25. 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100%. Those are your only options. If you have automation, you can fine tune it down to 5% intervals I believe.

You might look at the Circupool SWG's from Discount Salt Pool. You would probably want one rated for at least 25,000 gallons. 20K might cut it a little tight, or make you run your pump even longer to produce the amount of chlorine you'll need. Maybe the Circupool Edge 25 for $779, or the RJ 30+ for $1199 might be your best options.
Every model sold by Circupool offers the full warranty on DIY installs, which isn't the case with most other brands.

The install is pretty straight forward especially for your setup. It should be very easy.

Yep, what you have outlined it in red pretty much it. I agree with @DeanP66 on the selection of a cell. If you plan on DIY, how do you plan on tying in the electrical? It looks like you have a single speed pump so usually you want to tie it into your pump timer. So the SWG is on when the pump is on.

You should fill in your signature with your equipment and give us some pics of the rest of your equipment area, like electrical boxes as well, in case there is something we are not seeing.
