Is anyone else finding that pumps are either backordered or not available? I need a replacement system and can't find any that are available. (above ground)

Between the Covid demand for pools and the equipment damaged by the Texas freeze all pool equipment is in short supply. I have heard the Texas freeze damaged more pool equipment then is sold in a typical year. Plus you have the general supply chain issues of getting products from Asia where it is all manufactured.

Yep. I’m not even looking right now, even though I wanted to upgrade this year. Nothing I want is in stock (for a reasonable price).
Good to know it isn't just me. My pump died last year so I need something to replace it.

If you can't find something new.. look on Craigslist.. you might find a used one where someone upgraded their pump motor. I'm seeing a lot of those in CA since there is a push to VSP pumps/motors
