I am not sure if this is the correct forum or not but here goes.
I am going to switch to salt instead of tablets and or liquid chlorine. I purchased a salt test kit to go with my Taylor 2006 and a Circupool RJ60+.
In what order should I do the conversion?
Plumb in cell
mount and wire in SWGC controller
put salt in pool
add liquid chlorine to pool until I get salt level up to 3,500?
How long does it take for salt levels to increase? Are we talking hours, days weeks?
I believe my Taylor kit will still work for TA, PH and hardness as well as FC.
The SWCG has been sitting on my work bench for 2 weeks because of my indecisions! I thought I had the wiring figured out but then a thought hit me, if I turn the power off to the controller, when the controller comes back on will it automatically power back up or will I have to turn it on manually with the on/off switch?
