You can. Or just leave it and see what happens as the pool water warms and people start swimming in it. No one call tell the difference between a 8 or 4 ppm FC with a CYA of 50.
Well it's on 25% (lowest setting) and yesterday I gained 1ppm FC. Per my calculations I should need to put it on 50% once we actually start swimming. New to SWCG and just don't want to mess anything up. Overthinking things is what I do, lol. Thanks for all the help guys!
The SWG guide here says CH should be 220-320 for fiberglass, should I raise my CH? It is currently 60.

Fiberglass pools can have issues with cobalt staining, especially at low CH levels.

I believe it is 12 years old. Never heard of cobalt staining, but I do get some black "star" looking spots.

If you have gone 12 years and no big issues, I would not change.
