That's not going to add 2 psi.
That is my cleaning setting ("quick clean") I run less than that for 6 hours and then down more for 5 more. Was running that high to leak check.At 3050, a 2 psi increase is possible.
You are running the pump way too fast.

Unless you have a heater or a floor system, you should not need to exceed about 1,750 RPM.
Going any higher provides no benefit and it uses about 5 to 8 times more power than necessary..
