Two quarts of 6% liquid chlorine would give you only 1.5ppm, so 12.5% should get your near 3ppm.....but that is about how much I would guess you would use as your daily sun tax offering.
Can you up your CYA to 50ppm and see if that helps?
I'll be taking a 10-day vacation in a couple days and so I'll have to use tri-chlor tabs in a floater. I'm guessing my CYA will be 50 when I return. I try to keep my FC around 6.
I'm also going on vacation for 10 days. Bring your FC up to SLAM level right before you leave. That and the pucks in the floater should keep the pool in decent shape. If you have a friend or neighbor who can drop by to check skimmers and add a gallon or two of liquid chlorine it'd help. Also agree with Maddie that your CYA should be at 50 to provide more sun protection for the chlorine. Might be up there when you return!
