Stonescape discoloration

Hello,
I'm new here, my pool is fairly new about 3 years old. I've had a pool cleaning service for the past two years and more recently their service has gone completely down hill. I'm getting ready to fire them but before I do so I need to find out of the issue with my Stonescape is partially due their neglect and balancing chemicals. Attached are photos of the discoloration of the Stonescape which is consistent to wear the Chlorine floater travels. I noticed the floater was cracked af the bottom and I assume dumping more chlorine? Any thoughts or input?

Repeated excess chlorine in a particular area could likely be the culprit, but I have a feeling they will find a way to say it wasn’t that and that it’s either typical or something out of their control. My vote would be to let it go and start taking care of your pool yourself (with help from everyone here if you want it).

Thank you I appreciate the feedback. I have a feeling you're right I'm sure they would find a way to push the blame. So frustrating and upsetting especially since the pool is not that old. Definitely going to start managing it on my own.
