I have patches of white stuff on my pool walls and floor. Someone suggested maybe it was plaster inconsistencies and not calcium build up. It wasn’t like this when the pool was re-done several years ago and in some places on the wall, it will be in a line. On the floor also but more on the wall. I took some pics and zoomed it so it can be seen. I’ve brushed and brushed, it does nothing. Any thoughts ?

It does seem that is what it is. Although I don’t see any cracks or holes, it describes it exactly. It has grown in time. So there’s not a fix? I just live with it I gather? I think I’m the only one who notices. But since I’ve noticed, I can’t stop noticing
