HI, This shut-off valve (see photo) on the drain line is so stiff to close or open it takes all my strength. Is there anyway to lubricate a valve like this, or do I just need to replace it?
Thanks

We recomment that you replace the PVC ball valves, no way to repair or lubricate.

Search for 2-way diverter valve.

You want to search for a valve that looks like this, these are rebuildable...

There is no way to service that valve. PoolStored's advice is the best. That's why those valves, though much less expensive, are never recommended by anyone that knows pools.
