Good morning,
I am beginning my 12th season on the same/initial cell that I installed upon switching to salt water in 2014. I don't mean to look a gift horse in the mouth, but this seems long. Last night I tested to be sure it was still working by putting it at 100% for 12 hours overnight and my FC jumped from 5 to 9.5.
I purchased a new T-15 cell in the summer of 2023 feeling certain that the cell would eventually stop working. Here I am. It is still working.
Do I just leave the same cell in place until it no longer produces chlorine?? How do I know when to replace the cell?
