Stain on Tile

Yes - I had one ready to go, but forgot to attach it.

Looks like calcium build up but odd the way it is formed. Could be efflorescence out of that joint in the tile?

You should be able to use a diluted muriatic acid solution to clean it off.

Do you have a full set of test results?

Take care.

And the acid didn't do anything to the tile? The pool was finished in September 2016. It wasn't there when we closed it, but we noticed it over the Winter when the cover blew into the pool. We did have the numbers dialed in before closing, but with the plaster being new and closing after a month and a half of being open, I wasn't sure what it could be. If it was coming out of the joint of the tile, would you do something differently than the diluted MA solution?

Numbers are good now:

Ph = 7.8
FC = 8
CC = 0
CH = 325
TA = 110
CYA = 90
Salt = 3500

These were my last test results as of Friday. It hasn't been getting bigger, but I was looking for a safe way to remove it.
