My test results are calling for 11oz of stabilizer. I'm pretty new to this and I haven't used stabilizer before. Does it matter which brand I purchase, and how do I add it to my pool?

Are you sure it isn't suggesting you replace 11% of your water? If your target is set to "30-50" and you input that your CYA is 55 that sounds like what it would tell you to do.

I would just round your CYA up to 60 (best to always round up to the 10's, test isn't all that precise) and leave it be.

Then you don't want to add stabilizer. You have an effective CYA of 60 (we round up on the test, you can't extrapolate between lines as it is logarithmic and not linear) and you wouldn't want to add more. Can you show the screen where it's recommending CYA be added in the app?

Change your target CYA to your actual CYA. Bingo, nothing is needed.

The app just calculates how much to add based on the levels you tell it. You have to do some amount of thinking to see what your recommended level ranges are.
