Stabilizer mark left?

Our pool store gave us a gallon of something yesterday to increase our CYA which was around 10. My husband put it in but said it was chalky/thick. Now we have this line around the edge of the water. Will this go away on its own? What can we do?

Sounds like you added liquid stabilizer.

Brush the line with your pool brush.

I’ve tried that and it will seem like it comes off but then, once dry, is back.
