sta-rite t-240bp-1 filter

Hi,

I am new, and need some help.

I have a STA-Rite t-240bp-1 filter, it has lost a good bit of it's sand into the pool.

Should I try to fix it or replace it?

Try to fix it if it can save you some money. Have you contacted the manufacturer and/or the company that sold it to you?

it is 15 years old,

I can get the laderatals and up right for $170.00,

new hayward 244t @ $ 360.00

15 years old? Wow, it might be worth it to spend the extra $200 and get a whole new filter-your call. I'd say you got your good out of that filter.
