So on another note I tested my water and the readings are:

Where did those tests come from?
You need to test with your own test kit. A Taylor K-2006C or TFT Test Kits
I think the guide mostly talks about the muriatic acid but doesn't talk as much about when to add the calcium.
Guide says to begin adding calcium Day 2.
You do not need to pre-dilute. Slowly broadcast the calcium on the pool surface and brush any calcium that falls to the pool floor.
Be careful if you pre-dilute as calcium is exothermic and can get hot in water and burn you.
