Hello,
I have a raised spa that looses water when in SPA mode. All valves turn in the right position, sucking water from the SPA and sending the water in the SPA, but still the water level goes down. The only way to keep the water level steady is to pull 95% of the water from the spa and 5% from the pool - the issue is that the pool water is 74 and spa at 90, so I'm continuously heating the pool water.
Based on my limited knowledge to me it seems that the return valve might be leaking water back the pool instead of redirecting it all to the SPA.
I'm thinking to open the valve and replace the internal parts, the flap that is supposed to stop the water from leaking into the pool circuit, but I honestly don't can't find how to get the part number of my current pentair 3 way valves, I have attached a top and bottom pics of the valve. I think this is the valve that came with the intellycenter or intellyvalve, in one of the pictures you can see the intelly valve in the background. The plumping is 2".
Any recommendations? Am I on the right track? Any other approaches? What valve guts are compatible with my valves?
Thank you.
