Spa troubles

I am a first time spa owner. I have a small pool and thought I could manage the spa like a pool...

I checked my levels
Fc- 5.5
Cc-1
Tc-6.5
Ch-200
TA- 290
CYA-0
PH- 7.8

I just added some cya to bring it up a tad and some muriatic acid to lower the ph in Hope's to lower the TA as well. I was worried about the filtration system, that it possibly wasn't circulating as much as it should, so I hooked my pool pump and filter to it as well to get it moving and left it overnight. And this is what I ended up with. Yellowish water...this would be normal for a fresh fill because of the iron in our well water, but I already filtered that out on the fresh fill to where the spa water was nice and clear. Now this! Any ideas? Thanks!!

I understand that now. I didnt think my numbers were totally horrible, I just dont know how to correct the problem.

How many gallons in your spa? I would rain the water and start over.

It's about 300 gal. I could drain it, but is there any way to avoid that? A fresh fill with well water takes forever to filter out the iron...

I don't know what created it as you say you filtered the water before. You do not have anything in your signature so I don't know what pool equipment you have and if your pool filter contaminated the water. I would not connect your pool stuff to the spa .

Definitely drain & start over - have u ever used it ? If not the cc is concerning-
I imagine you introduced something with the other equipment that caused the yellow. A small amount of contamination is a big deal in a small hot body of water.
Upon refill try the dichor then bleach method as its hard to measure such small amounts of cya How do I use Chlorine in my Spa (or pool)?
The ma is fine for ph control- it’s easier/faster to lower ta in the spa because of the aeration but that also means it rises more frequently than a pool - take ph from 7.8 to 7.1 then aerate , repeat until u get where u wanna be.

I know nothing at all about inflatable spas, except that they have alot of problems. I am not sure how you connected your pool pump to it, but if it was in line with the existing spa equipment and filter you may have damaged something in there. This might not be a chemical issue at all.
Drain it. I understand well issues, but a bunch of guessing is not going to help, and those inflatables are not chemical friendly. Not even the quality of a vinyl liner in a pool. Start throwing this and that in there and you may create more problems than you solve.

It wouldn't have been contamination from the pool filter. The water was already yellow before I filtered it with the additional pump. This is the first time I have used this. Its a blow up(portable) coleman saluspa.
