Spa Size

We just broke ground and are now under construction! We decided on a 10ft diameter spa.... it looks massive . Is this too big? What is the average size spa? How many people can we expect to fit in a 10ft round spa? TIA

Depends how close you are with your friends in this age of Covid. That size spa allows social distancing in the spa.

10' is good enough that people can stretch out their feet and not play footsie with folks on the other side.

Draw a 10' circle on the ground and get a few folks to sit within the circle and see.

I would say the average spa is 7 or 8 feet. Be aware that a 10 ft spa will take a long time to heat up and the gas will be expensive.
