I finished 30 day startup on our new pool. Installed all the intellivalves and programmed the set points. When I turned on SPA mode, the intellivalves moved to SPA and booster pump came on also. I tried to change the Intellivalves to off but they are greyed out. I ended up having to delete the booster pump. Is there away to change the valve settings? I also cannot get booster pump to run either. Ideally I would like the SPA button to start the booster pump and create a separate SPA heater circuit to turn valves to SPA mode and start heater when I want heat. As it sits now I click spa, the valves move to spa mode and when I turn heat on heater bypass valve operates properly and heat comes on. Do I need to use one of the AUX circuits to add the Booster pump and call it SPA Jets?

That is the way it works.

Yes.

Press SPA to go into SPA mode and turn valves and turn on heater.

SPA jets is an independent circuit from SPA.

You may be able to use a Circuit Group to do both but I have not explored Circuit Groups yet.

Thanks I was trying to avoid using a AUX circuit since the relay is not necessary.

What model is your spa pump? How is it wired to the IntelliCenter?

You don't need to use an AUX circuit.

It can be a feature circuit.

It is a Pentair Inteliflo3 VSF. I tried creating a feature called SPA Jets, but when I went to add pump to feature I did not see SPA Jets as an option. All I saw was pre-installed circuits. I chose Aux7 and renamed it SPA Jets to get it to work. Pump is wired directly to its own circuit breaker and connected to RS-485

I have these Feature Circuits....

Then under the Pump you Add Circuit to associate the feature circuit with the pump and you can then set a speed for the pump to run at.

I think you missed the Add Circuit for your SPA JETS feature circuit to have it show on the pump list.

I created SPA Booster this morning

When I go to Pumps menu for my 2nd pump I do not see SPA Booster as an option to select.1721658071053.png

The green box under the pull down list of circuits says ADD CIRCUIT. Click it and add SPA Booster and it will then appear in the list...

Thanks Allen, I played with it some more. When I click Add Circuit it still does not show, but when I log out and log back in it shows up. It may be another weirdness of Pentair Home app. I deleted SPA Jets the one using Aux 7 and renamed it back to Aux 7 Created a new feature "SPA Jets" logged out and back in it was there and added pump. I will try it later after I vacuum all the dirt from the SPA, we had a major Haboob yesterday Pool and SPA are full of dirt.
