Spa blower toggle

I mistakenly purchased a replacement spa blower that does not have a toggle switch (and of course waited until after the return window to notice it...)

My question is: is it possible to install a toggle switch or otherwise modify it to control the blower?

I am sure you can wire a toggle switch like this into the circuit for your blower...

You just need a double-pole switch. You'll have two hots and a ground.

Since my blower will be exposed to the elements, would I need a particular type of rated switch? Cover?

You need to put it in a weatherproof electrical box.

The replacement is a different model than the existing blower, but here are pics:

Your choices are to find a blower with an integrated toggle switch like you had or wire in an external switch into the power line of the blower you bought.

How deep is that box area? It looks like it's sized to take a switch.
