Hello All,
I've been using the pool math app and self testing pool water for the past couple weeks now. As a sanity check, I brought a sample to my neighborhood pool store and couldn't help but notice the difference in recommended ranges. Are these variations extreme enough to cause an issue either way? Do recommended ranges vary by locale/location?

FC = TFP (3-7) vs. PP (2-4)
pH = TFP (7.2 - 8) vs PP (7.4 - 7.6)
TA = TFP (80 - 120) vs PP (50 - 90)
CH = TFP (250 - 650) vs PP (250 - 400)
CYA = TFP (30 - 60) vs PP (40 - 100)

Outdoor, liquid chlorine, plaster pool (plastered 5 weeks ago). Latest test results in Pool Math if required.

Thank you!

Your pool will eventually find an equilibrium, and as long as you’re within the TFP recommended ranges you’ll be fine. There are ranges because each pool is different. You do want to stay on the higher side of FC range.
