I have seen it available in .25 lb size - that would be a huge amount - enough to fill 11+ of the 10g containers. Which is way too much for residential pool users.
I bought 2 10g containers when I first built my pool and by the time I needed to use the second one it was already going bad. So my advice follows Marty's above, just stick with the smaller containers and get a nice fresh one when you run out...
That makes sense. Asked because I just went through a slam for mustard algae and used 3/4+ fo the 10g with all the testing, obviously wont use that much in regular testing but thought I'd ask.
SLAM should not be a regular process. I have never had to do one in my pool in nearly 5 years. The SWCG helps that immensely as every day, it add the chlorine I set it to add.
