Some Wanda the Whale questions

Hi All - I've been gifted a used wanda the whale from a friend and have some questions for the experienced users.

1) Can you 'redirect' the cleaner toward a certain area. Mine kind of went around with no rhyme or reason and missed some areas. I have a 15 foot pool and we let it go around the pool for maybe 10-12 mins and it still didn't get a few areas like a good 3 foot x 2 foot section it did not go over
2) Mine tipped over on its side and looked like a turtle a couple times in 1 area of the pool, wondering if that's normal OR is it because he gave it to me without the tail? is the tail functional or just for show?
3) Do you guys actually take apart the hoses when it's done or just lay out the hoses straight instead of curling them

I had and loved my Wanda! I have a couple of questions about yours. Is the hose plenty long? If it is too short that could cause it to tip over like you are saying.

Whey say your "tail" is missing what do you mean? Mine did not have a tail.

What I would do to help her clean the whole pool is drop her in at this side and let her do her thing. After about a hour or so I would restart her by dropping her over there. That tended to work and I had a big 33' pool so had a lot of coverage!
