[SOLVED] Water flow from relief valve on UWF (Polaris 3900)

I needed to replace a broken UWF valve for my Polaris. Even with the restrictor valves inserted, I can feel water coming out of the black relief valve. Is this normal behavior, or is it broken or encountering too much pressure?

not sure, probably not supposed to, but mine does the same thing... doesn't seem to affect the performance though

I can't get up to the recommended wheel RPM, even with no restrictor plates in, so I was wondering if this could be the problem.

could be - is it trickling out or gushing out? have you checked for obstructions in the gears (something tangled up in the wheels), back up valve functioning correctly (if present)?

It's underwater, so hard to judge the rate of flow. I can definitely feel it, however!

I would return the UWF and try another one.

Not a Polaris part can be the problem.

I'll check on it. It's brand new and leaked from the very start, so I don't think it's a cleaning issue.

Looks like a crummy aftermarket valve. Replaced with a Polaris one, no leak.
