[SOLVED] SPA won't shut off except in Service Mode

Hi folks,

My SPA won't turn off when in Auto mode (controlled by remote in the house), but I can get it to shut off (and stay off) when in Service Mode. However, it goes back to SPA mode when I turn it back to Auto.

When I hit the SPA button in Auto mode from the remote, it will do one of a few different things:
1) just say "SPA Off" but nothing else happens
2) Say "SPA Off" and hear a click at the main controller. Also sounds like the pump restarts, but SPA (and light) remains on
3) Turn the SPA light off temporarily and cause the Filter Pump light to blink and say "Pump will turn on after delay". The valves don't actually move out of SPA mode though, and when the pump kicks back on, the SPA light turns back on

I have also noticed a couple of times that the Air Blower has come on at random times, so I'm thinking it's an issue with the controller.

I have a Jandy Aqualink RS with Blue Haven BH6100 remote controller (which I think is an Aqualink RS8?).

Any ideas on what to troubleshoot further to identify the issue?

TIA

Will,

It sounds to me like the system is stuck in the Spa mode. Bad wired spa side remotes are known for causing weird issues like you are having.

Just disconnect the connector inside the automation system and see if the problem goes away.

Basically, corrosion gets in them and causes the system to think the switches are being pushed.

Thanks,

Jim R.

I get redirected when trying to click on the links (screenshot of dev tools below), so may be something the web developers should take a look at.

I can get there directly though, so I'm good on my side. Thanks for all the responses!
