Solar Touch lost communication

Welcome to TFP.

What model pump are we discussing?

When did the problem start? Did you have any thunderstorms around the time com was lost?

Do you have a SolarTouch system or an EasyTouch system? You called it "My solar touch ET".

Post pics of your equipment pad.

Welcome to TFP.

What model pump are we discussing? The pump is an IntelliPro - VSF. It is about 6 yrs old or so, but everything on the pump works well; all programs operate as they should. The problem started about 6-7 months ago. The communication cable was a bit warn near the pump so I replaced it but that didn't fix the problem. I shut the Solar Touch unit off for the winter and just turned it back on, but the problem is still there. I live in SW Florida and we have frequent storms but they have never affected my sustem. My next thought is the circuit board. What do you think? I have attached some pics> I appreciate any advice you may have. Thanks.

Pentair does not give much to diagnose that type of problem.

You may have lost the RS-485 chip in the pump or SolarTouch but really no way to verify on the equipment.

You sure the connector on the pump and the pins have no corrosion?
