Solar Blanket Straps

I use my solar blanket in the beginning and end of pool season. I blanket is always ripping where I have the straps attacked to it. I am constantly having to fix these over and over again. Does anyone have any recommendations for better straps?

Also, what can the group tell me about liquid blankets? Do they work? My Solar Blanket really does a great job of heating the pull and trapping the heat in. I can easily heat the pool by 15 degrees in less than 3 days.

Liquid blankets are known to be a waste of money.

The straps you have are probably ok, are you putting them on at least 1 foot or more away
from the blanket edge?

I got so annoyed with mine I just removed them and hand wrap the blanket to the
roller assembly now.

I have a I have my roller almost in the middle of the pool. I have a Kidney shaped pool.

You could bunch up the solar cover at the point of where the strap will connect, so it will be going thru two thicknesses of cover. Hope that makes sense.

I am seeing if anyone has any suggestions on new straps? The ones I previously purchased, I can't find instructions on them and can't find any orders in amazon history.
