Snake under my liner

So, my pool has been losing water, it's about a foot low. As I was walking around it to find a leak, a snake went under. Could it puncture a hole?

I was just walking around looking for a leak and watched a snake go under my liner. Can they make a hoke do you think?

I guess it’s possible but they generally don’t make their own holes/tunnels - they use ones that something else made. The something else may poke a hole.
