I have small 15' X 42" round Summer Escapes pool. I got everything hooked up and ready to go for summer (we put pump, filter and SWG in the garage for winter) but the SWG died after 1 day of use. I have gone through 2 Intex Salt Water generators and now need to purchase another system. Since the pump, filter, SWG and hoses are hooked back up and running I really hate the thought of having to drain the pool to below the skimmer to replace the existing Intex system. MY QUESTION IS: Has anyone used one of the drape-over SWG systems (ControlOmatic Megachlor or Saltron)? If I use this type, I would not have to drain or dismantle anything.

I have one of those in my hot tub...works well. But the manufacturer says they for up to 2,000 gallons... so you'd need two of them.

The Megachlor will handle this application nicely. The Megachlor CD will automatically come on as needed when the Chlorine gets low.
